🌼🥮Dragon Boat Festival With Love🥮🌼

On this special Dragon Boat Festival, we partnered with Seng Li Marketing Sdn Bhd to visit the Amitabha Elderly Home, in line with Seng Li Marketing Sdn Bhd’s 20th anniversary celebration and their commitment to giving back to the community. Employees and volunteers worked together to make a difference and bring warmth and care to the respected elders. We handcrafted vegetarian zongzi, from preparing the ingredients to wrapping each one with love.

But it didn’t stop there. We fostered cross-cultural communication, where people of different races engaged in heartfelt conversations with the elderly. We also captured precious moments with our cameras, freezing their radiant smiles, so that they could relive the joy and happiness when they see the photos. Through these efforts and contributions, we showed our care for the elderly and brought love and warmth to our community.

Let us continue to embody the spirit of compassion and dedication, making this Dragon Boat Festival more meaningful than ever! We extend our gratitude to Seng Li Marketing Sdn Bhd for their collaboration, as well as to all the dedicated employees and volunteers who generously contributed their time and donations. We firmly believe that through our acts of love, we can create a better community where every elderly person feels cared for and cherished.

PERTUBUHAN PEMUDA PRIHATIN NEGERI JOHOR sponsored a one-day trip for the elderly to Batu Pahat! We express our gratitude for the sponsorship and companionship of the caring youth group, which provided the elderly with the opportunity to experience the beauty of life. This trip allowed the elderly to enjoy visiting temples and tasting cuisine. 🚌🌟

Visiting the temples allowed the elderly to experience the solemnity and serenity of religious culture, and provided them with the chance to pray and seek blessings. 🙏✨

Throughout the day trip, we, together with the volunteers, paid attention to the needs and comfort of the elderly, ensuring that everyone could participate fully. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the members of PERTUBUHAN PEMUDA PRIHATIN NEGERI JOHOR and the volunteers who participated, as their care and attention made this event even more meaningful. 🤝❤️

We witnessed the smiles and happiness on the faces of the elderly during this activity, which is the greatest reward for us. Through companionship and care, we hope to uplift the spirits of the elderly and make them feel the warmth of being cared for and valued. Most importantly, we created cherished memories together with the elderly. 💖📸

Donation items for flood in Kota Tinggi, Johor

On March 1st, Johor was hit by heavy rain which caused severe flooding not only in Chaah Segamat, but also in many other low-lying areas. One of these areas was Kota Tinggi where water levels reached up to 3 meters or higher.

Therefore, we contacted the principal of the SJK(C) New Kota in Kota Tinggi, Johor. After that arranged to pack and deliver the needed supplies to the school.

On March 12, 2023, Amitabha Malaysia delivered 50 sets of supplies and other necessary items to the SJK(C) New Kota and worked together with the school principal, teachers and volunteers to help students, staff, and nearby flood victims affected by the flooding.

On that day, Amitabha Malaysia delivered the supplies to SJK(C) New Kota at 10:00 a.m. and distributed the supplies to flood victims door-to-door with the chairman, principal, teachers, and volunteers. Through communication with the flood victims, we learned that some elderly people could not move fast enough to evacuate in time and were knocked down by the flood, while others had to soak in the water waiting for rescue by kind-hearted people. After the flood, flood victims also needed a lot of time and manpower to clean and organize their homes to restore their living places. We provided supplies to help flood victims ease the post-disaster pressure. The residents in the disaster area deeply appreciated our assistance.

We would like to thank the Principal and Chairman of the SJK(C) New Kota, Kota Tinggi, Johor for their cooperation and assistance in helping flood victims affected by the flood.

Donation of Love and Supplies for Chaah Flood Relief

Amitabha Malaysia has successfully completed its second flood relief donation drive. Despite encountering many difficulties on the way, we persevered and successfully delivered much-needed supplies to the affected people in the disaster area.

Along the way, we encountered low-lying areas where water levels had not completely receded, making it difficult to pass through certain routes. However, with determination and perseverance, we found alternative routes and continued on. We were eventually able to deliver the supplies to the distribution center and to the hands of the affected people.

Thanks to the generosity of kind-hearted donors and love donations, we were able to provide essential items such as dry food, instant noodles, drinks, and cleaning supplies to the affected people. We hope that these supplies will help them get through this difficult time and rebuild their homes.

We express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has contributed to this cause. Your support has had a tremendous impact on the lives of those affected by the floods. Let us continue to work together to bring hope and relief to those who need it most.

Turkey Winter Wear Drive Updates

Thank you for your generous donations! Amitabha Malaysia has collected few hundreds kilograms of various warm clothes and thick winter clothing items during the past winter clothing drive, and has successfully delivered them to KL Turkish Embassy, ensuring that every piece of clothing will be distributed to those in need. We hope these clothes will bring warmth and love to the earthquake victims and help them get through this difficult period.

Once again, we thank you for your support and love in this winter clothing drive. We believe that as long as we work together, we can help more people to overcome their difficulties. Let us send our support to the people in the affected area.

Relief items for flood Skudai

A heavy downpour in Johor Bahru this two days caused serious floods in low-lying areas overnight. After receiving this news, the Amitabha Malaysia got in touch with YB Marina Ibrahim , a member of Parliament from Skudai to understand the needs of flood victims. The caregivers and children of Amitabha Orphanage immediately prepared and packed all kinds of necessary materials such as biscuits, canned food, instant noodles and basic necessities. The items are delivered to Skudai community center to support the victims.

Amitabha Malaysia always standby to help the victims in distress to tide over the difficulties as much as it can. Your kind donation makes a difference!

KH Crystal Sponsoring Kidney Dialysis Treatment to Needy Patients

Kidney patients have to pay for kidney dialysis three times a month. Renal dialysis patients not only need to bear the usual living expenses and medical expenses, but also the cost of renal dialysis, which is a huge burden for patients with financial difficulties.

Here, the Amitabha Haemodialysis Centre sincerely thanks KH Crystal for its generous donation to the Amitabha Haemodialysis Centre, enabling 12 patients with financial difficulties to benefit from 10 kidney washing services. Your kindness has brought infinite hope and warmth to these patients and made them feel the care and concern of society. Thank you again for your support and generosity. Thank you for your support and attention to our “Winter Clothing Donation Drive for Turkish Earthquake Victims”! We greatly appreciate your generous donations, as your help has enabled us to receive supplies and send warmth and hope to the earthquake victims in Turkey.

In this campaign, we received donations from various industries, including winter clothing, blankets, and other seasonal items. With the assistance of our partner Global Peace Mission (GPM) Malaysia, we delivered these supplies to the affected areas, providing necessary aid and support to the local disaster victims.

We sincerely thank everyone who participated in this campaign, especially those who donated supplies. Your generosity and kindness have allowed us to help those in need and let them feel our love and support.

Although this campaign has ended, we will continue to monitor and support the situation in the affected areas and do our best to provide assistance and support to the people there. We believe that as long as we stand united and work together, we can overcome difficulties and create a better future.

Lantern Festival 2023【玉兔🐇迎春，暖心庆元宵】

During the Chinese Lunar New Year Lantern Festival, a group of volunteers spent a wonderful time with the elderly.

On that day, despite the drizzling rain in the morning, the warmth of the volunteers and the elderly at Elder Home Putuo Village did not diminish. We made delicious Tang Yuan together, communicating and interacting with laughter and joy.
In addition, we prepared some mini games for elderly to play together, the laughter and cheering sounds brought happiness to the elderly and created unique memories of this year’s Lantern Festival.

Furthermore, we also prepared small gifts for each elderly, some even wanted to keep them as a collection! Through chatting and playing games, it improves the emotional health and reduce stress of the elderly.

Thanks to all the volunteers, your arrival has given the elderly a memorable Lantern Festival experience!

Once again, thank you for your support of this event, and we look forward to collaborating with you again in the future.
