Amitabha Malaysia welcomed an extraordinary winter solstice this year. A group of loving volunteers cooked traditional glutinous rice balls for the elderly. This activity was kindly sponsored by IOI Properties Group Berhad, which provides volunteers an opportunity to gather with elderly and celebrate winter solstice. The volunteers kneaded all their love and passion into the dough and the rice balls are definitely the most heart-warming food in this festival. After that, volunteers also accompanied elderly to watch a local movie ‘Light’, the elderly had a chance to reminisce the moments they enjoyed movies in the past. Under the attentive accompaniment of the volunteers, the elderly spent an unforgettable day.
